Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and continued her three-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of each fight. Following that she took on WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her via unanimity to create an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd was able to bounce back to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she took on Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta 16 saw her go from Bantamweight to her bout with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen took on McGill by wrestling her to the ground and eventually defeated her in the third round TKO. Aspen took on Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. But, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. In her last fight for Invicta FC, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground to score a second-round TKO victory. She remained dominant and scored an even impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round and was awarded the evening bonus. She fought her first big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters getting an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in only 16 seconds. After a break of a few seconds after which she returned to beat Yana Kunizkaya at UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The UFC Fight Night 195 fight was decided unanimously in her favor.
