Anne Celeste Heche, an American actress best known for her work in films and television in a variety of categories. She was awarded numerous awards, including her Daytime Emmy Award as well as the National Board of Review Award. In 1987-1991, she gained fame for her performance as Victoria Hudson's sister Marley Love. This led to two Soap Opera Digest Awards and the Daytime Emmy Award. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June. 6, 1953) was an American film actress. She is known best for her character of Lieutenant Sheba in her role in the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). Her mother is the actress June Lockhart. Her grandfather was actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart's professional career started very in the beginning. She was just four years old when her first film role came as a character in T is for Tumbleweed. This film of a short length about subject matter was nominated for an Oscar award. Her mother took her to the film studio, where she was taught about what the industry of film was like. Lockhart played in numerous scenes of Lassie. Dora in Jory, 1972 was the first film she appeared in by Lockhart. At age 18 she played her mother Joan Crawford in 1972 television series The Sixth Sense. Joan was the last actress to appear in the series. There is widespread belief that Anne did not want to play Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's Halloween in 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis was cast in its place. Carpenter states that the actress turned down his offer to be Laurie Strode. Anne cannot recall John Carpenter having contacted her nor offering the role. There is a chance that one of Anne's agents rejected it for her reasons without informing her. Glen Larson chose her initially and then sent her a draft written script. She was to appear in the television series Battlestar Galactica, which aired in 1978. She rejected the role initially since the character wasn't strong. Later Glen wrote a new part just for her with a much stronger character named Sheba. She embraced the Living Legend's script after she read its first 25 pages. The show lasted for just one season. She appeared in Joyride (1977) the film in which she co-starred as well as acted in alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
