Melissa Suzanne George from Australia is an actress, model and inventor. When she began her career in her country of birth, she eventually made her way to Hollywood and was able to achieve significant results there. An alumna of the city of Perth George was at first interested in dancing and artistic roller skating. George began her modeling career when she was an teen and was awarded the title of Western Australia's teenager Model in 1992. In a show on Seven Network's soap series Home and Away, she was the first to make her screen debut the next year. Dark City marked her screen debut, and she has since played a variety of supporting roles for projects including Alias The Limey & Down with Love. Prior to taking on her first leading part in a mainstream Hollywood production of The Amityville Horror's remake in 2005, she had already appeared in several other films. Her name is among the most sought after Australian expatriates. George launched Style Snaps, her product as the inventor.
